Due Diligence in Practice: Lessons from the MRDH Pilot in Mexico

Anton Pieper (WEED) will join the multi-stakeholder panel “What the Pilot Taught Us,” alongside voices from academia, civil society in Mexico, and the corporate sector. The Mecanismo de Reclamación de Derechos Humanos (MRDH) is a cross-sectoral complaint mechanism in Mexico that was piloted from May 2024 to December 2025. It enabled affected individuals to report human rights violations and environmental issues in the supply chains of German automotive companies.
